Laura Cederberg is a strategic communications executive with nearly 20 years of experience guiding Fortune 5 companies, global brands, universities, nonprofits, and startups through high-stakes moments and complex public environments. Her expertise spans corporate communications, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record managing regulatory challenges, corporate crises, and shifting public sentiment.
Prior to launching Cederberg Strategies in 2025, Laura served as Executive Vice President, Market Lead of Weber Shandwick’s Minneapolis office, where she led integrated communications strategies for top-tier private, public and NGO sector clients. Previously, she directed communications for all 24 regulatory state agencies under Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton and Lt. Governor Tina Smith, shaping state-level messaging on critical policy issues. Her leadership experience also includes roles at UnitedHealthcare, the American Swedish Institute, and EMILY’s List in Washington, DC.
Laura currently serves on the boards of the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, the Minneapolis Downtown Council, Minnesota Citizens for the Arts and the University of Minnesota Hubbard School of Journalism. She is a past member of the professional advisory board for the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
A proud graduate of the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor, Laura resides in Minneapolis.
